Steel sheet piles PAZ4550 and PAZ4560 are suitable for situations requiring one or more levels of anchors whereas anchors utilizing tie rods are typically limited to situations requiring a single level of PAZ4550 anchors. All drills will start with the announcement, "This is a drill, this is a drill”The ground anchor tendons and tie rods must be provided with corrosion protection.

A lifeboat drill will be held, if so equipped. To be held at least once per month. The drill will include a mock injury. The fire-fighting team will consist of a sufficient number of equipped, trained crew (approximately 6), to properly PAZ4560 handle the needs on each vessel. Ground anchors are generally prestressed to a high percentage of their design tension force whereas PAZ 4570 anchors with tie rods are secured to the wall with little or no prestress force. The observer of the fire will sound the alarm before attempting to extinguish the fire. The fire team will muster at PAZ4570 the fire station nearest the fire with needed equipment. The construction of the quay wall was planned as follows: After the retaining wall, existing of primary elements HZ 775 A and secondary elements AZ 26 is positioned and driven to its design depth (NN – 34.5 m) the soft soil behind of the wall was intended to be dredged under water to a level of NN –17 m.

The distribution of lateral earth pressure on anchored walls is influenced by the method and sequence of PAZ 4550 wall construction and the anchor prestressing. Reports will be sent to the Incident Commander or designee at each phase of the drill. On the cleaned up dredging base the PAZ 4560 anchor rods, diameter 6.25”, of the bottom anchor layer should be placed, ready assembled together with the anchor plates, one anchor for each primary element (a = 2.27 m). Standby boat, if available, will be mobilized to a standby position. 5. All sheet pile personnel not involved with fire-fighting PAZ4570 or PAZ 4550 critical vessel operations will muster as arranged, and a headcount will be sent to the Incident Commander or designee.

Anchored walls are typically constructed in cut situations in which construction proceeds from the top down to the base of the PAZ 4550 wall. All crew will be informed when the dummy is tossed PAZ 4560 overboard. The rescue team will muster to the designated boat.In the next step the bottom anchor layer should be embedded in under water dumped sand up to NN – 12.50m, starting in front of the anchor plate and moving towards the retaining wall. If available, a boat will be on standby.

A lookout will be placed to do nothing but watch the man overboard and continually point towards him. For situations where PAZ 4560 fill is placed behind the PAZ 4570 wall special consideration in the design and construction is required to protect the ground anchors or tie rods from construction damage due to fill placement and fill settlement. It is at the same time the bearing beam for the front crane rail. The rear crane rail was planned to be founded separately on concrete PAZ4570.

Thus the anchor capacity is guarantied before the wall is loaded by earth pressure. Before securing from the PAZ 4570 fire drill, the Incident Commander or designee will review and clearly indicate any additional actions that would be taken in the event of a real fire, such as posting a re-flash watch, not re-stowing fire-fighting gear, and other appropriate subjects.

In the same way the anchor layers at NN – 12.5 m and NN – 5 m should be placed and embedded in sand. The topmost PAZ4560 anchor layer at NN * 2.5 m was finally planned to be placed in dry.

To be held at least once per quarter (weather permitting). 2. A dummy will be thrown over the side. The dummy shall be the approximate size, shape, and weight of a person with suitable flotation devices in PAZ4550 place. The superstructure was planned as a relatively light concrete beam, placed on the retaining wall and on the fender piles in front of the wall.
