S beam - American standard sections

S beam is a length of steel or iron that is bent at a right angle, commonly used for making frames, racks and for construction purposes.

Manufactured via the pultrusion process, these structural shapes are strong, flexible, dimensionally stable, and inexpensive to install and remove with simple steel beam.We Steel carries A36, A529-50, A572-50, and A588 angle carbon steel.They are non-conductive, electromagnetically transparent, provide thermal insulation, and are less costly to maintain over the life of the product.They are cheap so they are the normal choice for most fabrications. Mild Steel can be easily cut to meet your requirements.

S beams products are impervious to most industrial and environmental corrosives..It is available in a variety of sizes, making it ideal for structural applications, general fabrication, machining, and repairs. It is also easy to drill but please note that we do NOT currently provide a drilling service.Typically, it is stiff and strong. American Standard beams do rust easily, but they can be easily painted or primed.
